OMG

Feb.10, 2010 .... MORE SNOW ! and we still have 5 or 6 hours more. 3 days after we got dumped on with 26 to 36 inches... We had something like 22" in december around Christmas time.. Official snowfall for this snow season will top 70". Most snow in the area since the Redskins first thanksgiving ... and I'm not talking about a football team !!!!

Here we go again !!!

Wednesday Feb.10, 2010. Another storm hits us 3 days later !! and my work says they are still open. ! come on, that's a joke. in other words, your more than welcome to use your vacation or make up the time.. Can't believe they'd want people to come in....

We are now waiting for it to subside later this afternoon, so we can dig out... AGAIN ! cabin fever, stir crazy.. HELP !!!!!!

ice starts

Monday around lunch time.. melt from the roof ices over gutters and downspouts and is making CRAZY big icicles. Everyone is concerned about weight of snow on their flat roof and weight of snow and icicles on the gutters.. You can see where I had to shovel down to the yard and create a poopy patch for Momiji.. excuse the poopers =)

diggin

We dug out the minivan and car. Only went out to visit doctor with Henry having a 103 fever and still recovering from ear infection... Everyone is doing fine.

Blizzard 2010

this was about 12:30, lunch time... still 5 hours to go. starting shoveling around 4 just to get porch and steps cleared before sunset. Also had to shovel place for doggie to do duty earlier in the day. About a 45 minute job.

We rarely even get any rain or snow onto the porch during storms. So seeing a few inches was very surprising.

Blizzard 2010

snow continues to fall. This shot is saturday morning, and it kept coming until around 6pm that evening.

Bath Time

Henry does the splish splash while Ella gets a nice cloth wipe down.

Snug as a bug

Ella doing what she does best... sleep between feedings and poops. She is pretty strong already, similar to Henry, moving all around and picking up her head.

Henry and Mommy were glad to see each other the next day... Beth weathered the delivery much better the second time around... as you can see by Henry crawling all over her less than 24 hrs from giving birth !!

Ella came into the world at 21" and 9lbs 6oz. Beth only had to push 1 or 2 times... 12 hours after scheduled induction, she came on the 27th of January.. Henry and Ella share the same day of the month for birthdays.
